We update this page regularly, so please email email@example.com if you'd like anything added, but we do also curate and encourage crew wanted and available posts via JOG Facebook page, which is often helpful for short-turnaround requests.
Katarina Mackie: As the 2017 race calendar has been finalised I would love to find a boat to crew on for JOG events. I have done lots of sailing but new to racing and would like to give it a try. I am a keen learner and willing to fill any position. If you need any crew for next year or know someone who does, please email me on firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you
Lorenzo Marsili: Hi JOG members! I am keen to join your group of offshore sailors. I am a young sailor with experience in both dinghy and yacht racing (offshore and onshore). Now that I live in the UK as a student, I am looking to find a crew to participate in the 2017 JOG race calendar. If there is any boat looking for crew, I would be ecstatic to fill in any position.
Email me at: email@example.com if you have or know of any crew vacancies. I will be more than happy to give you my sailing CV. Thank you for your time.
Jim Nixon: I am an experienced Australian offshore sailor (23 Syd-Hobarts and over 50 other cat 1 and 2 races, 150,000+ sea miles), mainly on boats under 40 feet ... 3/4 tonners, 1/2 tonners etc. I will be based in France/England for a few months from early May and would love to do some of your JOG races if the opportunity arises.
Currently I am sailing master/helm on a revamped S&S 34 named Azzurro which has had 7 podium finishes in the past 3 Hobart races. I am in my late 50s, very fit (keen rock/mountain climber, surfer and bushwalker). Easygoing non-smoker that enjoys a beer. Can do anything on boat. I'm happy to help with boat work, deliveries too.
