The BNY Mellon Challenge Race is shaping up with first interest in the race from Spain and also from a MOCRA multihull. Santiago Orlando and Txema Garcia from the Basque Country have signed up in their Bongo 9 and Grant Kelly has shown interest in his French Outremer 40/43; both to do the whole 1000 miles.
Race Management Team members, Andy Hill, Mark Wynter and Nick Barlow have also led by example and registered their interest in competing. Registration now does not commit you to anything, but gives the Race Management Team a better indication of likely numbers for any stage of the race.
