JOG (Junior Offshore Group) Yacht Racing is welcoming 2023 with two brand new sponsors on its racing programme. Raymarine and Lewmar have come on board for the JOG Lonely Tower race on Saturday 25th March 2023 and the JOG Final Wrap (Cowes to Cherbourg) race on Saturday 29th September 2023 respectively.

Each race is expected to attract anything from 40 to 150 boats ranging from 25ft-40ft and include both double handed and fully crewed boats. They are always popular choices in the JOG sailing calendar and each class winner will have the opportunity to win an array of prizes.

Raymarine and Lewmar join a wide array of returning sponsors supporting JOG’s racing calendar including Exposure OLAS, Salcombe Gin, PredictWind, Serversys, Stoneways Marine Insurance, MDL Marinas, Osmotech, OneSails and the Portal Company as well as the ongoing partnership with Henri Lloyd as JOG’s technical clothing supplier.

Commenting on the importance of these sponsorships for JOG’s 2023 race programme, Stuart Lawrence said, “We are looking forward to welcoming Raymarine and Lewmar into our sponsorship programme for 2023. Like any sponsorship package, we are grateful for their support as it enables us to put more focus on achieving our key goals for the coming year including our youth programme, Generation JOG, and the start of our sustainability journey.”
Richard Marsden, UK & Ireland Sales Manager for Raymarine states: “Raymarine is thrilled to be sponsoring the JOG Lonely Tower Race this year. It is great to be starting off the year with such an exciting sailing event.”

Catherine Grinstead, Marketing Leader for Lewmar says “We are proud to be supporting JOG as an organisation putting focus on supporting the confidence of a new generation of yacht racers. As part of Global Corporation Lippert, Lewmar is invested in promoting the betterment of its communities and using its business as a force for good; we see the benefits JOG are bringing to the sailing community and are excited to be a part of that journey.”
